Digital Shopping Mall is a Canada-based company (Kaluta Shopping Mall Inc.)

We are a pioneering e-commerce platform, redefining online shopping by making products and services up to 100x more affordable through the use of digital vouchers. Powered by a mission to eradicate poverty, we connect local businesses to a global marketplace while enabling consumers to shop smarter — and cheaper.

We are building a global shopping ecosystem that:

  • Enables extreme price reductions via digital vouchers
  • Empowers members to earn through a multi-generational affiliate system
  • Distributes donation shopping points to the underprivileged — globally and transparently

How It Works

Our platform introduces a powerful financial engine using Kaluta Donation Coins (KDCs) and Digital Shopping Coins (DSCs):

  • KDCs are minted by a planned nonprofit organization and converted into Kaluta Donation Points (KDPs). These go directly to underprivileged users via digital wallets.
  • DSCs become Digital Shopping Points (DSPs) — used as vouchers on our platform for product and service redemption.
  • A 10% equity stake in our company is allocated to the NGO to maintain fairness and impact-driven governance.

This combined strategy of price disruption + targeted donations is designed to eliminate poverty — permanently.

Who We Are

Shafi Kaluta Abedi — Founder & President

A certified public accountant and retired banker from Tanzania, Shafi has spent decades in accounting practice and banking supervision. He served in leading roles at the Bank of Tanzania and Akiba Commercial Bank before retiring early to pursue entrepreneurial ventures focused on economic empowerment.

His personal struggles in affiliate marketing sparked the idea for Digital Shopping Mall — a system that rewards members not only for direct sales but for creating opportunity through a ten-level affiliate income structure. He also developed the Kaluta Projection Methodology, a simplified financial planning model for everyday entrepreneurs.

The Journey

2013

Shafi created Maskani Yetu to help groups buy in bulk. It was a promising idea, but technical and financial challenges halted progress.

2017

He refined the concept with blockchain and crypto pricing, proposing it to a partner company. The execution failed to meet his standards.

2020s

He partnered with a dedicated blockchain developer from the UK to bring the full vision to life – now known as Digital Shopping Mall.

Today

Backed by members and ready to launch the world's first ultra-affordable global shopping mall.

Innovation Highlights

A price menu:

Buyers can preorder deals at prices they are willing to pay, compared to the actual listed price of the deal.

Deal Recommendation Commissions:

Members who recommend a deal to be onboarded for sale on the Digital Shopping Mall receive a recommendation commission for each unit of the recommended deal sold on the platform. The commission is capped as follows:

  • Up to DSPs worth $100,000 for deals they personally recommend
  • Up to DSPs worth $50,000 for deals recommended by their direct referrals
  • Up to DSPs worth $5,555 for deals recommended by their indirect referrals (Levels 2 to 10)

Ad Revenue Sharing – 10 Generations Deep:

Members earn a share of ad revenue as follows:

  • 40% of the ad revenue from ads consumed on their own streams
  • 10% from ads consumed on their direct referrals' streams
  • 1% from ads consumed on the streams of indirect referrals (Levels 2 to 10)

DSM Marketing Executive (DME) Smart Remuneration Package:

A DSM DME earns a commission for each unit sold from their closed deals with suppliers on the DSM platform, with a maximum cap of USD 100,000 per deal.

Member-Driven Poverty Eradication:

DSM Founding Members are allocated Kaluta Donation Points (KDPs), which they can donate to needy individuals in their communities as part of an effective, member-led global poverty eradication initiative.

Funding the Future

Pre-launch members purchase shopping points in advance. These will be redeemable after launch, offering real value at a fraction of the cost.
